Well done everyone who swam in Race Two of the open water series last night. It was ocean racing at its finest: a beautiful evening with tricky navigation, currents, a slight swell, and a challenging course due to one of the buoys slipping its moorings and being replaced with a lifeguard on a rescue board. Thanks to everyone who helped, especially those responsible for putting hot dogs in people's hands after they'd finished. This week, another Race Hero: Abi Jagger, who swam with a friend to help her to the finish. The way competitors are looking out for each other in these races is a beautiful thing.
Race Three is in two weeks' time: 5-July, be there or be square.
