Some great results from Cormorants swimmers over the last month or two, including:

Gold-medal performances at the Splash Into 2018 meet in January by Mia Clive, Adam Long, Jess Rayner (who won two) and India Rose. Well done to Max Sydenham and Edward Condron, who also picked up medals.

A smashed-it team effort at the Brighton Dolphins Gala. In the two previous years we’ve come last-by-a-mile and fourth in this gala, so second, only 7 points behind Lewes, was a great result. There really were too many excellent performances to mention them all: of 32 individual swims, 22 were personal bests. Prize for the biggest improvement, if there was a prize, would go to Abi Jagger, who knocked over 11 seconds off her 50 freestyle time. Almost as pleasing as the performances was the team spirit the swimmers showed.

County championships are ongoing, so we’ll report on them after they’re finished this weekend. Good luck to everyone taking part.
