Moving from Silver to Gold squad

The technical and training skills a swimmer must demonstrate in order to move squads are explained in the squad description. Swimmers also need to complete a 4 x (split 4 x1 individual medley) test set in an average time of 2:50–3:05, with a fastest time at the lower end of this scale. They will also normally be able to average a front-crawl start-to-15 metres time of below 11.5 seconds. 

Moving from Academy to Performance squads

The technical and training skills a swimmer must demonstrate in order to move squads are explained in the squad description. Swimmers also need to complete a 4 x (split 4 x1 individual medley) test set in an average time of 2:30–2:45, with a fastest time at the lower end of this scale. They will also normally be able to average a front-crawl start-to-15 metres time of below 10 seconds.
