Ceasing Membership

Just a reminder, that whilst we hope that you will all continue to be members of CCSC and continue your swimming career with CCSC we do understand that sometimes a decision has to be made to cease membership.

Whilst the rules state that the membership fee is an annual fee we do by concession collect fees on a monthly basis. Fees are due for the whole calendar month regardless of when a member joins or leaves. To cease membership every member must give one full calendar month's notice, this enables the club to find another member to take their place and ensures that the club does not lose income as a non profit organisation which covers pool hire coaching and other fixed costs. Any outstanding balance on your account must also be settled.

So if for example you wish to cease membership from 1st July 2026 you must give notice before the 1st June 2026 and pay fees for the whole of June. Fees are generally paid by standing order and it is your responsibility to cancel your standing orders with your bank. CCSC cannot be responsible for any overpayments.

Swim England Membership will continue until 31st December in each year. 

We hope that you continue to be members of the club but in the event that you decide to leave hopefully this is useful.
