Club competitions

These are friendly internal competitions, which give swimmers a chance to test their ability across the range of strokes in a pressure-free environment.

All swimmers are expected to enter every event if they can. 

Winter club championships: 16-17 November 2018

Held over two days at Arun Leisure Centre, Felpham. Age groups are U10, U12, U14, U16, Open and Masters, and events are 50 m of each stroke for U10, U12 and Masters, and 100 m of each stroke for U14, U16 and Open age groups. Individual Medley is 100 m for all age groups.

There are cups and trophies for the winner of each event which are presented at the awards night in January.

Summer sprint challenge: May 2020 (Exact date TBC)

The Summer Sprint Time Trials are an important event for all CCSC swimmers. It consists of 50m time trials for each stroke in a 25m pool. Events are swam in heats ranked according to current personal best times, so you will be swimming against other swimmers with a similar entry time. This is a fun gala, fast and furious, and an opportunity to register a time in a 25m pool. It is not about winning it is about getting better.
